Cleaning is incredibly easy. I've had the vac for months now and use it pretty heavily (especially in sanding applications where fine dust is prominent). I purchased a set of their Fleece Bags shortly after buying the vacuum. Out of the box the vac came with one plastic bag that I just found to be worthless. The fleece bag is infinitely better.
